Melania Trump is often spotted out wearing some gorgeous outfits from her wardrobe, and the First Lady didn’t disappoint today as she joined her husband US President Donald Trump at the reopening of the Washington Monument. The 49-year-old was pictured wearing a structured white dress, which fell just below her knees and showed off her toned legs. The dress had a belt detail, which cinched in at Melania’s waist and accentuated her figure. She teamed the dress with a pair of printed heels, which added a pop of colour to the white ensemble.
Opting for the natural look, Melanie kept her make up to a minimum, wearing bronzed cheeks and a nude lip.
She wore her hair down in a soft wave, with a side parting and her fringe swept across her forehead.
She was joined by fourth grade students from Amidon-Bowen Elementary school, as she participated in the reopening of the Washington Monument, following its three year renovation.
Melania greeted the kids with high fives and handshakes, and one child told her he was never going to wash his clothes after meeting her.
At one point however, Melania was left holding the ribbon after her scissors didn’t work.
She also took a ceremonial ‘first ride’ to the top of the Monument, after the historic landmark was closed for more than three years to repair damage to its structure and the elevator.
She spent about 15 minutes at the top, where she met local grade school students, who were the monument’s first public visitors.
Melania later handed out every child in the Outdoors 4 Grade Park passes, which offer the students free admission to the national parks.
Former model Melania is well known for her love of fashion and is always impeccably dressed when she attends public events and political functions with her husband.
The wife of President Donald Trump, 73, is lucky enough to be able to afford desirable designer pieces and has stepped out in a number of show-stopping and budget-breaking looks in recent years.
She has worn ensembles from Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors and Balmain to name a few, not to mention her love of Manolo Blahnik heels.
Earlier this week, the fashionista teamed a pink pair of her favourite shoes with a custom-made cream Dior suit for the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony which took place at the White House.
