Manchester United booked their place in the last 16 of the Europa League with a comfortable 6-1 aggregate win over Club Brugge. The Red Devils will now face LASK for a place in the quarter-finals.
Who are LASK?
Linzer Athletik-Sport-Klub, commonly known as LASK, play in the Austrian Bundesliga.
They are currently top of the table after 20 games, three points clear of Red Bull Salzburg.
LASK play their league games at the Waldstadion in Pasching but use the Lineker Stadion for UEFA competitions.
The club reached the last 16 of the Europa League with a 3-1 aggregate win over AZ Alkmaar, who coincidentally were in United’s group earlier in the tournament.
LASK are unbeaten in all competitions since the 4-0 defeat to Rapid Vienna in December.
Their next fixture is at home to Hartbeg in the Austrian Bundesliga on Sunday.
Have they met before?
This will be the first meeting between United and LASK.
The Premier League side are unbeaten in their eight games against Austrian opponents.
The Red Devils won seven of those matches, the most recent of which was against Sturm Graz in the 2000/01 Champions League group stage.
In terms of the UEFA club coefficient, LASK is the lowest-ranked side left in the competition, while United are the highest.
